Youth Program

Youth Group meets Sunday nights from 6-8 p.m.

Summer Schedule

June

4 – SALT meeting at 5 p.m. If you would like to be a part of the youth group SALT (Student Action Leadership Team), see Jimmy Cooper or Avani Christian for more details.

4 - Youth Group Topic: Pentecost and the Holy Spirit

11 – Youth Group Topic: The Trinity

16 – Daybreak. If you are interested in helping to prepare and serve dinner at the Daybreak homeless shelter in Joliet, see Avani for more information.

18 – No youth group. Happy Father’s Day!

25 – Enjoy fun at the Bolingbrook Village Picnic from 12-6 p.m. Youth Group will be going miniature golfing in the evening. Bring money for mini-golf and any snacks you may desire.

July

2 – SALT meeting at 5 p.m.

2 - Youth Group Topic: Christians and the music they listen to…Bring your favorite cd to youth group that night.

4 – Happy 4th of July

9 – Youth Group Topic: Worship

13 – Youth Group Outing to the Splash Station Waterpark in Joliet. Bring money to cover your cost for admission to the pool, along with any snack money you might want.

16 – Vacation Bible School Kickoff Cookout

17-21 – Vacation Bible School Treasure Seekers. If you are interested in helping with Vacation Bible School, talk to Jimmy, Avani, or Kristy Homan.

21 – Joliet Jackhammers Baseball Game. To purchase tickets for you and your family see Kristy Homan.

23 – Youth Group Topic: Parents

30 – Youth serve as Scripture readers and liturgists in worship. If you are interested in helping with worship in any way, see Jimmy or Avani.

30 - Youth Group Water Games and Summer Olympics. Bring clothes that can get wet.

August

6 – SALT meeting at 5 p.m.

6 - Youth Group Topic: Friendship

11 – Youth Group hosts Family Movie Night at church

13 – Youth Group Bowling Outing. Bring money to cover bowling, shoes, and snacks.

20 – Youth Group Topic: Christian Social Action
